DESCRIPTION


The selected vendor will provide school based administrative claiming (SBAC) consultation services, focusing on the implementation of SBAC in alignment with CMS requirements. The goal is to enhance Medicaid school-based services, improve student access to care, and ensure efficient and effective program management.

The provider will collaborate with local education agencies (LEAs) and relevant stakeholders to improve billing and claiming processes, modifying current Medicaid SBAC workflows to reduce administrative burden and expedite reimbursement. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of audit documentation supporting federal claims, and verifying compliance with federal regulations.

The contract will span five years, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 13, 2026.
