A government authority in California is seeking a comprehensive scale house management system, encompassing both software and hardware solutions. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing, installing, and supporting the complete system, which must include user-friendly operator interfaces at scale terminals and robust scale management software.
Key requirements include the capability to migrate historical data from the current system, automate the creation and processing of weigh tickets, track materials and volumes, and integrate seamlessly with existing billing and accounting systems. The software must also generate customizable reports to support compliance and operational analytics. Additional functionalities include on-site training and implementation, automatic capture of weight data, transaction management for both new and returning customers, material categorization, and volume tracking.
The system should support billing system integration, deliver flexible and customizable reporting tools, offer user security through role-based access and audit trails, and provide multilingual functionality with support for at least English and Spanish.
