A project is underway in California to replace and modernize the existing SCADA system. The scope involves migrating all current SCADA functions to the Ignition software platform, ensuring up-to-date and efficient process control. The vendor will be required to develop operator interface screens aligned with modern SCADA user interface standards, and configure Ignition to communicate with newly provided programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and a radio network.
Additionally, all short-wave radios must be replaced with updated models compatible with the new system. The project includes importing historical data, establishing real-time data trends, and conducting both point-to-point and end-to-end system testing to ensure seamless operation. Comprehensive system validation is mandatory, culminating in operator sign-off. The selected vendor will also provide thorough documentation, including wiring diagrams, communication maps, and details of programming logic.
Interested parties should note that all questions regarding the project must be submitted by February 13, 2026.
