A government authority in New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide SCADA system integration services. The SCADA system primarily utilizes Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Wonderware HMI software. The selected vendor will be responsible for emergency and non-emergency troubleshooting and repair of SCADA equipment, including PLCs, network infrastructure, computer equipment, and control systems. Emergency responses must be provided onsite within four hours, while non-emergency responses are expected within forty-eight hours.
In addition to troubleshooting, the scope includes system design, creation of point-to-point diagrams, development of shop drawings, system integration, operator training, development of operations and maintenance manuals (O&M’s), and system start-up assistance. The contract also covers panel fabrication (UL-508A or equivalent), mechanical assembly, wiring, HMI and SCADA programming, Programmable Logic Controller programming, and configuration, as well as SCADA hardware and software upgrades. The contract period is set for two years.
