A New Jersey water utility is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive SCADA software and system maintenance services under a five-year contract. The scope of work includes regular system integrity checks, conducted semi-annually or more frequently, encompassing testing, emergency troubleshooting and repairs, control loop testing, calibration, and review of improvement plans related to both plant and collection system SCADA components.
Services will also involve the installation of new software and upgrades, programming, troubleshooting, and modifying displays and communications within the SCADA system. Additional responsibilities include updating system architecture schematics and wiring diagrams, maintaining logic documentation, replacing or building racks and modules as needed, and preparing recommendations for system upgrades. The vendor will be responsible for monitoring the condition of communication networks and providing reports on any identified issues. The SCADA system consists of computers with monitoring software as well as associated communication hardware and software.
