DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Washington, DC seeks an expert vendor to provide safeguards IT computer security support services. The successful contractor will collaborate with IRS leadership, staff, and other contractors to perform agency computer security reviews. Responsibilities include establishing control policies and procedures in line with industry standards for project administration, execution, and tracking, and reporting on the status of IT reviews at the end of each review week, highlighting concerns and logistics.
The contract also requires providing recommendations for IT staffing and delivering a finalized project schedule covering all relevant technologies. Services will be delivered remotely or in a hybrid format. Additional duties include conducting safeguards security report (SSR) reviews, offering IT system testing support, and applying cybersecurity and information technology expertise throughout the engagement. The contract period will be for one year.
