The selected vendor will provide comprehensive public outreach services for the rural zoning ordinance update. The scope of work includes leading and facilitating outreach activities before and after the release of updated draft zoning ordinance amendments. These activities will consist of at least four group-based charrette-style workshops, three advisory committee meetings, and six larger presentations targeted to specific community groups, with a focus on revisions impacting agricultural groups and uses.

The vendor will be responsible for developing messaging, as well as creating and refining presentation materials in collaboration with the department. Duties also include setting up hybrid meetings with both in-person and virtual participation, managing public comments and questions, recording meetings, and delivering the recordings. Additional responsibilities involve financial management tasks such as task setup, invoicing, and progress reporting to the county project team.
