DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Ames, Iowa seeks a vendor to deliver a rural broadband platform supporting applications such as agriculture, education, and renewable energy. The scope encompasses mounting multiple antennas, installing and aligning communication dishes, setting up an equipment cabinet, routing power, fiber, and Ethernet cables, and working closely with local stakeholders.

The project requires the replacement of the existing Aviat radio currently oriented toward the Gilbert Tower with a new Aviat radio. Vendors will be responsible for the provision and installation of Aviat radios, dishes, signal cables, and power cables at multiple fixed sites as well as one mobile site.
