Lancaster County School District
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Lancaster, South Carolina seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive roof replacement services. The selected contractor will be responsible for repairing any damage to district or private property, including utilities, caused by their work, at no additional cost to the district.
The facility will remain occupied during normal business hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. As such, the contractor must ensure appropriate access provisions are made. Weather-related work stoppages will only be permitted if rainfall totals exceed the average for the month of construction. Any facility damages incurred during the project must be repaired at the contractor’s expense.
Scope of work includes providing 2-inch roof insulation—both mechanically attached and adhered in foam adhesive—as well as tapered insulation crickets and saddles, a cover board adhered in foam adhesive, and installing a two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane with all necessary flashings and accessories.
