The State of Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide a hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) Risk Management Information System (RMIS) to support the management of liability claims. This solution will include implementation, hosting, ongoing maintenance and support, as well as comprehensive training services for agency staff.
The system must offer a configurable workflow engine to automate business process flows and support efficient claim handling. Key functional requirements include the ability to enter and track claims filed by the agency, assign responsible team members to each claim, and define various claim types with customizable fields. The system should allow for categorization and assignment of document types upon upload, facilitate searching and filtering based on user-defined fields, and record both individuals and organizations that may be liable in a given claim.
Additionally, the platform should support documentation of carrier involvement, permit linking of multiple claims to a single incident, and associate multiple vehicles with an incident. This RMIS solution is intended to streamline claims management and enhance visibility across all liability claim processes for the agency.
