DESCRIPTION

The City seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive risk control and third-party claims administration services. The selected provider will work closely with the City Risk Manager, who will participate in the selection of new staff assigned to the account. Key requirements include dedicated resources for risk control services, and at least one consistent staff member with a regular onsite presence to foster strong relationships across all employee levels.

The scope includes end-to-end claims administration for General Liability, Auto Liability, and Professional Liability claims. Additional services will encompass a 24/7/365 nurse triage line for first reports of injuries, timely reporting to Excess carriers, provision of claim data for annual actuarial reports and financial audits, and quarterly claim or settlement reviews with relevant parties. The provider will also partner with Finance to manage escrow accounts and funding requirements.

Timely and appropriate reporting, as well as the ability to deliver claim data suitable for actuarial and audit purposes, are essential. The agency seeks to improve both operational efficiency and relationship-building at all levels through a collaborative approach.
