SUMMARY

Design–Bid–Build contract for constructing an Infantry Platoon Battle Course and supporting facilities at Ft Riley, Kansas.

DESCRIPTION

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, plans to procure construction services for an Infantry Platoon Battle Course (IPBC) and supporting facilities at Fort Riley, Kansas. The project will be delivered under a Design–Bid–Build (DBB) firm fixed price contract and involves significant new construction within a defined range area.

Scope of work includes building the IPBC featuring six distinct objectives with bunkers, trenches, and shoot houses, as well as reconfigurable portable targets to train and test infantry platoons on both mounted and dismounted movement and operational techniques. Construction will also cover supporting infrastructure such as access and service roads.

The Range Operations and Control Area (ROCA) facilities include a control tower, an after–action review (AAR) facility, an operations storage building, a covered mess area, an ammunition breakdown building, latrine, covered bleachers, and a battery building. The total estimated value for this project ranges between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000. This opportunity is open to organizations with experience in delivering complex military training facilities.
