California Correctional Health Care Services
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
A request for information (RFI) is being issued for wearable monitoring solutions to be implemented in a Correctional Healthcare environment. The desired technologies should provide capabilities such as real-time location tracking, vital signs monitoring, and automated alerts for emergencies such as duress events, man-down situations, or abnormal physiological readings.
The primary objective is to enhance situational awareness, improve response times, and support data-driven decision-making for both custody and clinical operations. Solutions must function reliably within correctional settings that may have limited connectivity, physical constraints, and elevated security requirements. The system should be able to record, store, and enable access to historical movement trails to support investigations and operations.
Additional requirements include integration with command center dashboards, SIEM tools, or incident management platforms, as well as enterprise-level device management features like remote updates, policy enforcement, and device health monitoring. The platform should utilize AI or machine learning to enhance location accuracy, predict safety risks, or detect anomalies, and offer predictive alerts for conditions such as fatigue, heat stress, or unusual behavior patterns.
