A Texas agency is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding strategic planning and performance management software. The primary objective is to identify systems that offer advanced automation, project management, and comprehensive reporting tailored for local government operations.
Desired functionalities include the ability to align key performance indicators (KPIs), initiatives, and departmental plans with citywide strategic goals. The agency is interested in solutions that support automated or semi-automated data ingestion from a variety of internal systems such as ERP, HR, CAD/RMS, MyGovernmentOnline, CityWorks, Projectmates, and GIS platforms. Additional features sought include robust analytics (such as trend analysis, predictive insights, and benchmarking), dashboard capabilities for different user groups, initiative and project tracking, task management with dependencies, milestones, Gantt chart visualization, and public-facing dashboards with data visualization options.
The agency also values tools offering API integration and other automated data exchange options, including SFTP support when needed. Solutions should provide options for data storytelling or narrative explanations alongside key metrics. Information regarding typical implementation timelines, approach, as well as training and change management support, is also requested.
