New York Racing Association
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Elmont, New York, is seeking information from vendors regarding advanced security technology services designed to enhance safety, security, and operational efficiency at its facilities. The primary focus is on technologies that strengthen security screening processes and promptly alert personnel to threats, addressing weapons and contraband identification without compromising personal privacy. Solutions of interest include, but are not limited to, millimeter-wave scanners, advanced metal detectors, radar, artificial intelligence-based screening, or other specialized equipment capable of identifying firearms and edged weapons.
Vendors are encouraged to propose systems supporting dual lane screening and to provide details about the system's recommended maximum pass-through rate per minute. The desired technologies should demonstrate an ability to detect a specified class of threat objects, with clear characterization by object size. The ability to adjust system sensitivity in response to intelligence or emerging threats, as well as immediate alert notification with the capability to narrow down the threat location, is highly valued. Integration with Genetec video surveillance and access control services should be highlighted if available.
This RFI aims to identify innovative, effective security technologies that support proactive threat mitigation and enhance overall facility safety.
