A government authority located in Argonne, IL is seeking a vendor to provide a research project management system under a one-year contract. The desired platform should be comprehensive and integrated, offering standardized and automated work acceptance workflows, enhanced risk evaluation processes, and robust oversight for managing research projects.
Key functionalities include configurable workflows for various project types, funding sources, and risk categories, along with granular role-based access for stakeholders such as principal investigators, division leaders, financial partners, and administrators. The solution should support dynamic templates and checklists, automated approval routing and escalation, real-time project tracking with dashboard views, and integration with procurement systems for subcontract management. Automated notifications, reminders, and communications, as well as seamless document management with version control, are also required.
