Ontario is seeking detailed information from vendors regarding commercially available Learning Management Systems (LMS). This request is aimed at understanding the current landscape of LMS solutions, including their availability, core and advanced functionalities, pricing structures, and requirements needed for transitioning from existing systems.
Areas of particular interest include AI-powered personalization, gamification features, product roadmap and update frequency, branding customization, streamlined course release processes, support for learning metrics, and comprehensive data export options. The scope also covers course and content management capabilities, assessment and testing tools, user roles and management profiles, deployment models (cloud, on-premise, hybrid), SCORM/xAPI support, device compatibility, and multi-user account functionality. Vendors are asked to provide timelines for onboarding, outline data migration processes, and supply details on product name, version, and specifications.
