A California agency is seeking information from vendors regarding a web-based healthcare scheduling system. The system should provide 45 annual subscription licenses and support call, clinic, rotation, and shift scheduling for group practices, residents, hospitalists, and other medical providers. Currently, the agency utilizes Agency for Enterprises+, but comparable solutions will also be considered.
The contractor will be responsible for hosting all facility schedules on a secure web server, ensuring 24/7 online availability with robust recovery mechanisms in the event of server outages. The vendor must also provide round-the-clock telephone support for critical issues such as server crashes and schedule-wide outages, with business-day support for problems affecting individual users.
Additional requirements include comprehensive software configuration assistance to match facility preferences, as well as initial and ongoing live or remote training sessions. These training sessions will cover all aspects of schedule management, including creating and maintaining section schedules, handling trade requests, using scheduling templates, configuring auto-scheduler features, and basic troubleshooting. Initial training for provider schedulers is to be completed within 30 days of contract award.
