The state of California is seeking information from vendors regarding modern fleet management system solutions to replace its current Fleet Asset Management System. The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to understand the current market offerings and gather details about available technologies and services that meet the agency's needs.
Vendors are asked to provide information on solutions that offer robust fleet data reporting, including a centralized platform for departments to track fleet asset composition, utilization, and disposition. Desired system capabilities include integration with other agency platforms such as Fiscal, Fleet Fuel Card, and telematics systems. The solution should support decentralized data entry and correction by departments, while ensuring centralized oversight and access for the agency.
Additional requirements include the ability to migrate historical data from the current system, as well as integration of validation and compliance tools to ensure data accuracy and support regulatory needs. Solutions must also align with California's IT security and privacy standards. Vendors are invited to submit their responses and direct any questions by December 18, 2025.
