The State of Maryland is requesting information from qualified vendors to support the modernization of its secure file exchange services. The goal is to implement a comprehensive solution that provides web-based file sharing, supports large file transfers (with a 10GB threshold and an objective of up to 40GB), and ensures robust security for government operations.
Key requirements include a user-friendly web interface for file sharing, along with dedicated file transfer and storage servers, and database logging for auditability. The solution should integrate advanced identity and access management systems, access control gateways, and multi-factor authentication to protect sensitive data. Security features such as data loss prevention, file type filtering, and restricted file handling are essential components.
Vendors should also offer software provisioning services, application deployment, analytics, configuration management, and a central dashboard for system oversight. The system must support different access levels for authenticated and guest users, and include a maintenance mode to minimize service disruption during updates. Furthermore, integration with database management, file storage, and network operations capabilities (NetOps) for provisioning, configuration, incident response, deployment, and data visualization is desired.
