DESCRIPTION

The agency seeks a comprehensive federated search solution to enable real-time, seamless information retrieval across various digital platforms. The selected vendor will design, develop, and implement an application that consolidates data from multiple repositories, providing unified, highly accurate results through a relevancy ranking system. The solution must allow personnel to access critical data instantly from a single entry point, while upholding the integrity and security of the original source systems.

Vendors should provide UI/UX expertise to deliver high-fidelity wireframes or application pages, utilizing Adobe XD. The application must feature secure connectors for diverse internal repositories, such as SharePoint, SQL, on-premises file shares, and AWS, employing industry-standard protocols. The user interface will include toggles and filters for users to select among internal, external, or hybrid search modes before executing a query, and a robust text editor for inline formatting and images within narrative sections.

Additionally, the selected firm will be responsible for creating and updating table and column level descriptions and definitions used by the application API according to best practices for the authoritative database.
