Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
Ontario is soliciting information from vendors on Critical Event Management solutions designed to facilitate rapid and reliable dissemination of critical information during emergencies. The preferred solution should support a modernized central command center operating around the clock, enhancing situational awareness, sharing tactical intelligence, and coordinating emergency response efforts. Additionally, the solution will serve Information Technology teams for communications when traditional email and instant messaging systems are unavailable.
Vendors are asked to provide detailed information on the core functionalities and technological innovations of their solutions, particularly for real-time communication, situational awareness, and emergency coordination. The solution should support multiple notification channels, including SMS, voice, email, and mobile apps, and should offer robust geo-targeting capabilities. Integration with platforms such as Microsoft 365/PowerApps, as well as the possibility to operate independently, should be addressed.
Details about deployment models (cloud, on-premises, hybrid), data storage locations, residency considerations, and retention policies are also requested. Security and compliance features—including encryption, access management, audit logs, software update processes, and relevant compliance controls—must be described to ensure the protection of sensitive operational data.
