A Texas agency is seeking information from vendors regarding off-the-shelf software solutions for continuity of operations planning. The goal is to identify software that facilitates data collection and storage related to continuity planning, business process analysis, and business impact analysis, while requiring minimal or no additional licensing or subscription costs.
The desired system should support creating continuity plans that align with agency-specific requirements and templates, as well as maintain a comprehensive library of historical exercises, trainings, and after-action reports. Key features include integration with Microsoft 365 or Outlook for email communications, the ability to store and report on risk or threat registers, and the capacity to monitor and visualize plan activation and essential function dependencies during incidents. Additionally, an internal routing system for plan update approvals, a dashboard for trend and incident monitoring, and visualization tools for essential business function mapping are required.
The software should also include robust calendar and project management functionalities, and all reports must be exportable to Microsoft Excel, Word, or Adobe PDF formats. Vendors interested in responding or seeking clarification must submit their questions by October 31, 2025.
