RFI for Comprehensive Time and Attendance Solution

The State of Alaska is seeking information regarding comprehensive time and attendance solutions capable of supporting employee lifecycle management and pay processing for approximately 15,000 executive branch employees. The goal is to assess potential gains in productivity, operational efficiency, and accuracy through the implementation of a new time collection and payroll processing system. The new solution should have the capability to replace existing manual processes and potentially outsource payroll processing if found advantageous.

The system should support telework and remote work by enabling telework scheduling and the tracking of telework hours. Additionally, it must provide employees with self-service access to information. Multiple options for capturing time are required, including alternatives for employees without web or PC access, such as manual timesheets. The State is conducting market research to understand available resources and benchmark costs, as well as the technological solutions and payroll processing capabilities present in the marketplace.

The information gathered from this RFI will help determine the best approach to maintaining accurate employee and attendance records in the state's human resource management system and to process employee pay and lifecycle management efficiently.
