An Ontario agency is seeking information from vendors regarding software solutions for the storage and management of sewer CCTV inspection data. The solution should support the uploading and storage of CCTV inspections and related data gathered through the agency's annual sewer inspection program, which covers approximately 90,000 meters of sewer mainline cleaning and inspection each year, along with various smaller projects. The current server holds inspection data dating back to 2005 and currently houses about 2.5 TB of video and reports.
The sought-after system must be capable of managing large volumes of data and providing robust data management features. These include the ability to perform extensive queries based on inspection observations (such as identifying areas of infiltration, structural defects, or maintenance needs), as well as searches based on pipe attributes like use, material, size, and street location. Additional requirements include the generation and export of formatted reports using the inspection data, the ability to export Microsoft Access databases, and support for exporting multimedia datasets.
All vendor questions regarding this request must be submitted by November 12, 2025. The initial contract period is anticipated to be one year.
