DESCRIPTION
A North Carolina institution is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding upgrades and modifications to its campus energy management system. The scope includes integration of existing network and cabling layouts (Ethernet & MSTP), with the installation of new Siemens Desigo panels and appropriate changes to support these upgrades.
Modifications are needed to replace current Tridium and Niagara controls with BACnet-compatible, Siemens Desigo controllers and sensors. Vendors are requested to identify which devices can remain to maximize cost-effectiveness in their recommendations. The project further includes replacing the current Siemens server, updating the front-end graphical user interface with new floor plans for every building level, and installing main equipment panels and controllers.
Additional work involves performing panel modifications and replacements, making networking changes at the Ethernet level, and replacing pneumatic terminal-unit controllers. This opportunity is set aside specifically for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
