A government authority in Washington, DC is requesting information from vendors specializing in barcoding, QR code, and RFID solutions. The objective is to assess and implement barcode and RFID scanning technologies that can be seamlessly integrated with Maximo and PeopleSoft systems, with an eye toward future compatibility with Oracle Fusion.
PeopleSoft FSCM is utilized as the agency's enterprise resource planning and financial management platform for processes such as purchasing parts, inventory management, payment of supplier contracts, and asset tracking. Maximo is deployed to manage inventories across twenty-four storeroom operations, enabling functions like storing, issuing, transferring, performing cycle counts, adjustments, and other inventory management tasks. The proposed solution should support these critical operational requirements, enhance automation, and streamline storage, order picking, and handling workflows.
