The government authority in Alberta is seeking information from vendors regarding banking services. Vendors are requested to provide a comprehensive overview of their background, specifically their experience in delivering banking services to municipal government clients, along with references from at least three corporate or municipal clients served. Details should be included on the nature and duration of services previously provided.

The scope of services covers deposit accounts—including operating, interest-bearing, lines of credit, virtual accounts, and alias structures—and state sweeps or liquidity solutions, such as zero-balance, target balance, automated CAD/USD transfers, and investment sweeps. Vendors must describe their interest methodology, fee schedules, relationship pricing, and payment deposit options, including branch services, remote deposit capture, image quality, and daily limits. The RFI also requests descriptions of fraud prevention tools, cheque issuance workflows, security and reporting measures, and online payment processing support for major card companies, e-Transfer, digital wallets, and advanced gateway features such as tokenization, recurring billing, and vaulting.

Security provisions are a critical component, including detailed descriptions of current and future measures aimed at ensuring the transparent and secure management of public funds.
