DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Lackland, Texas is seeking vendors to provide audit advisory services for fiscal years 2022 (FY22) and 2023 (FY23). Previous independent financial statement audits for these years resulted in a Disclaimer of Opinion due to the auditor's inability to obtain sufficient, appropriate evidence to support the financial statements.

These services are intended to be preparatory and advisory in nature. Selected vendors will assist in identifying and addressing fundamental deficiencies in current financial processes and improving the quality and reliability of supporting documentation. The services will not include the performance of the audits themselves nor substitute the judgment of the independent auditor, but will aim to prepare the government entity for future successful audits.
