Educational institutions in British Columbia are seeking information regarding technologies that promote academic integrity and facilitate secure online assessments for students. Vendors are invited to share solutions that enable authorized students to securely access and complete online exams using their own laptops or computers. Key requirements include integration with a SAML-based Single Sign-On platform via Campus-Wide Login (CWL), eliminating the need for separate application accounts.
Desired technologies must operate reliably across diverse global network conditions to support international learners, and should include features for clear pre-exam readiness, such as software installations and comprehensive device, network, camera, and microphone checks to minimize access issues. Solutions should also minimize technology and bandwidth barriers, offering low-bandwidth or offline capabilities where possible, and support data export in standard formats such as CSV, JSON, and Excel.
Questions related to this request for information must be submitted by December 8, 2025.
