Naval Air Warfare Center
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The organization seeks proposals for the development of a reusable, unmanned test and evaluation platform. The project requires the creation of a system architecture for an unmanned platform, along with associated ground and mission support infrastructure. The solution must have the capacity to carry and release 500–1000 lb class munitions, integrate multiple munition types, and accommodate diverse instrumentation setups.
Applicants should detail their integration approach, ensuring flexibility for new technologies and rapid adaptation in iterative, high-cadence test environments. The framework must include provisions for safety and risk management, as well as comprehensive strategies for instrumentation, telemetry, data collection, and analysis workflows. The platform should be designed for affordability, scalability, and capability to replicate flight conditions akin to naval aviation operations.
The selected vendor will be responsible for designing, building, and testing a representative prototype, including related mission support tools, to demonstrate the core operational capability of the system.
