DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive retirement plans investment consulting services. The selected firm will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring each plan’s current investment options to ensure alignment with the investment policy statement, as well as evaluating whether the current offerings provide optimal diversification, risk management, and return potential. Key responsibilities include furnishing quarterly written reports on fund manager performance and capital markets, reviewing plan pricing structures including management fees, recommending changes to fund option line-ups, and conducting manager searches as necessary.

The consulting firm will also be tasked with developing recommended transition plans for any proposed changes to the investment options and coordinating with the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) and Retirement Administration. Additional duties involve assisting with TPA selection processes, reviewing and updating the plan’s Investment Policy Statement (IPS), addressing TPA service issues, and providing written participant communications regarding fund changes and quarterly newsletters.
