DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Lexington, Kentucky seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive retirement consulting services. The selected firm will support ongoing oversight for the retirement plans of higher education and healthcare employee populations and must maintain current, independent expertise in line with industry standards at its own expense.
Services to be delivered include compliance support, evaluation and monitoring of recordkeepers, assistance with recordkeeper RFPs, plan and menu plan design, investment selection and monitoring including fee analysis and benchmarking, fiduciary training, plan document updates, and initiatives to improve retirement readiness. The vendor will also provide quarterly independent performance reporting with index and peer benchmarking, harmonize investment menus among providers, conduct manager due diligence while acting as an advocate for staff and committee, liaise with both managers and record keepers on pertinent issues, and assist with participant communication strategies.
All questions from prospective bidders must be submitted by May 7, 2026. The anticipated contract period is two years.
