DESCRIPTION

A vendor is sought to provide comprehensive research, outreach, and organizing services that support community-driven food security initiatives. The strategic plan, developed through cross-sector community engagement, highlights the need to enhance information exchange, increase access, and build local partnerships focused on food security.

Key objectives of this project include strengthening cross-sector engagement to streamline program coordination and resource allocation, expanding community engagement through accessible data and storytelling tools, and fostering trust in communities most impacted by food security efforts. The initiative also aims to reduce program duplication, enhance the capacity of local food coalitions, and drive public and private investments by deepening the understanding of the health and economic costs associated with food insecurity.

Vendors will be expected to facilitate increased community agency, more effective collaboration, and implementation of systemic and policy changes supporting food security.
