The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) to undertake the demolition, abatement, repair, and replacement of the roofs on buildings 69 and 139 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. The project involves addressing both the pitched and flat roofs of building 139 and the flat roof of building 69 to ensure the installation of complete and fully functional materials and systems that comply with all VA requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes.
All work must prioritize energy efficiency and adhere to Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards. Contractors are required to follow the specifications and drawings provided in the solicitation package. Completion of the project is expected within 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Interested bidders must ensure compliance with VAAR 819.7003, hold VETCERT SDVOSB certification, and meet OSHA/EPA requirements. Firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and be able to provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds along with a 20% Bid Guarantee. The contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract, contingent on the availability of FY26 funds. Pre-bid site visits and solicitation details will be available on SAM.gov as specified in the solicitation.
