DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in New York is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive renovation and asbestos abatement services. The project involves the renovation of office spaces, classrooms, the construction of two new computer labs, a chemistry laboratory classroom, and bathrooms within a specified building.

Scope of work includes floor-wide asbestos abatement, selective demolition of walls, removal of abandoned reheat coils and associated hot water piping, and refreshing all finishes. The work further entails constructing new walls and floors, installing new doors, ceilings, lighting, power receptacles, plumbing fixtures, and signage. HVAC ductwork must be adapted to the new layout, with the replacement of ductwork, air diffusers, and perimeter radiators as required.

Additional tasks involve the installation of new VAVs, new fume hoods and roof fans for the chemistry lab, connections for new IT/AV equipment, and integrating new security cameras and card readers. The floor's sprinkler system will also be updated with new sprinkler pipes and heads.
