Key requirements include a user-friendly interface for healthcare professionals, support for multiple communication channels (application, text messaging, automated calls to landlines and cell phones, and email), and adjustable frequency of notifications and surveys. The system should feature bidirectional communication, allowing patients to check in and triggering notifications for healthcare professionals as needed. Integration with Meditech or equivalent clinical documentation and scheduling platforms is required.

Additional features should include the ability to incorporate self-management tools for asthma and COPD, generate statistical reports, and ensure accessibility across all operational zones to support patient monitoring during staffing shortages. The system must also facilitate communication and data sharing among internal, regional, provincial, and external departments and health networks. Vendors should provide evidence demonstrating the impact of their solution in similar healthcare settings.
