A government authority in Littleton, Massachusetts seeks a vendor to provide regional opioid abatement coordination and support services. The scope includes developing evidence-based substance use prevention and remediation strategies across multiple municipalities, and building partnerships with local agencies, first responders, schools, community organizations, and healthcare/treatment centers.
The selected vendor will build and maintain relationships with professionals and agencies involved in substance use education, prevention, outreach, support, and treatment. Responsibilities also include planning and facilitating meetings, setting agendas and timelines, and documenting plans. Collaboration with police, co-response programs, and restorative justice initiatives is required to deliver evaluation and intervention for court-involved residents.
Additional duties involve developing and overseeing a comprehensive substance use prevention strategic action plan with clearly defined goals, objectives, and annual evaluations. The vendor will provide updated resource guides for prevention education and treatment services and assess and prioritize regional needs based on existing data sources such as town surveys, the Massachusetts Health Data Tool, and community health assessments.
