DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Alameda, California is seeking a vendor to provide reflective supervision consultation services. The selected provider will support a range of programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of pregnant individuals, families, infants, children, youth up to age 21, and those experiencing pregnancy loss. These programs include educational, preventative, diagnostic, and treatment services, as well as direct offerings such as case management, care coordination, pregnancy navigation, community support events, and mental health support groups.

Agency programs emphasize access to care, reducing infant and maternal mortality, and addressing the needs of children and youth with special health care needs. Providers are expected to be trained in trauma-informed, relationship-based, and culturally responsive care, with a commitment to racial concordance. The tenets of Reflective Supervision—increasing awareness of inequities and promoting social justice within healthcare systems—are at the core of this engagement.

Applicants should have demonstrated experience guiding groups of managers, administrators, and public health leaders in advancing health and racial equity, as well as expertise in program development and implementation. The contract period is for one year.
