DESCRIPTION


The City of Trenton, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive recycling coordinator coverage and certified recycling services for a one-year contract period. The selected provider will deliver Certified Recycling Professional (CRP) services, which include reviewing, verifying, and certifying the agency’s Annual Recycling Tonnage Report, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements, reviewing supporting documentation such as disposal manifests and facility receipts, preparing and submitting the Recycling Tonnage Grant application, and issuing written certifications necessary for grant eligibility.

Additionally, the vendor will serve as the Municipal Recycling Coordinator, advising the city on recycling program compliance, reviewing and updating municipal recycling ordinances as needed, assisting in the preparation of annual reports and documentation, and attending meetings (either virtually or in person) as requested.

Support for tire recycling compliance and enforcement is also required. This includes reviewing documentation from tire retailers, establishing standards for scrap tire disposal verification, and assisting the city in developing enforcement procedures for non-compliance.
