Recruiting Video Production Services

A law enforcement agency is seeking professional video production services to create high-quality recruiting videos aimed at attracting motivated and qualified candidates. The selected vendor will handle all aspects of production, including pre-production planning, on-site filming, and post-production editing.

Pre-production involves conducting a kickoff meeting with agency leadership and recruiting staff to develop a creative concept, message outline, and script treatment. The vendor is expected to create a production plan that emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and professionalism. During production, high-definition (minimum 4K) video footage will be captured at various facilities and community locations. Filming will include interviews with officers, recruits, and leadership, as well as b-roll of patrol activities, training sessions, community engagement, and departmental operations, all while maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and relevant department policies.

Post-production requires editing a primary recruiting film of approximately 2–3 minutes and creating two short social media versions (30–60 seconds). The final videos should incorporate graphics, music, titles, and department branding, as well as captions to ensure ADA compliance. Vendors must provide high-resolution and web-ready files in formats such as .mp4 and .mov, and allow for up to three rounds of revisions based on agency feedback. Final products, including raw or edited footage and high-resolution photographs, should be delivered either via a secure cloud-based service or on portable media devices.
