DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide complete recreation field turf replacement services for a government authority in West Virginia. The scope of work includes the full removal of the existing artificial turf system and infill material, and its replacement with new turf.

The playing field is outlined by a concrete curb, which does not have a haunch for turf attachment. Currently, a treated 2x4 perimeter 'mailer' board is fixed to the inside of the curb using 3-inch perma–grip nails with pre-drilled holes. The project will require removal and replacement of this treated 2x4 board with new treated lumber. Additionally, the new field installation must include striping for both soccer and flag football, but will not feature a University logo in the center. The contract period for this service is one year.
