A city in Minnesota is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive rebranding services. The project involves developing a new brand identity and narrative that reflect the city's mission, vision, and values. The rebranding process aims to capture the city’s unique governance style and its tradition of delivering high-quality services, recognizing that the existing brand has evolved organically without the benefit of formal market research or a structured brand identity framework.
The selected vendor will conduct a thorough assessment of the current brand and all creative assets, including existing logos, brand platforms, color palettes, and design elements. The scope of work includes proposing new branding options such as updated logos, color palettes, straplines, and visual elements, with two rounds of revisions included. The vendor will also develop messaging, themes, and stories to support the branding initiatives, along with a refreshed website design and strategic media placement.
An additional requirement of the project is to create a brand identity implementation matrix and a maintenance plan. The vendor will provide practical recommendations to articulate the brand, define target markets and promotional strategies, and enhance overall brand awareness among residents, businesses, and potential new stakeholders.
