Ohio Department of Health
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide a real-time syndromic surveillance system. The proposed system must be capable of accepting real-time or near-time data streams from emergency departments, inpatient hospitals, urgent care centers, and poison control centers across the state.
Vendors are required to outline their procedures for onboarding new facilities, maintaining and enhancing existing data feeds, and improving the quality and reliability of incoming data. They should also present strategies for adding new data sources, managing data storage and analysis, and delivering actionable insights such as dashboards, reports, and publications accessible to end-users. Additionally, the system should have the capability to notify appropriate users of anomalies and provide alerting for statistically significant increases detected in data from wastewater treatment facilities.
The proposal must include a detailed plan for processing bi-weekly data transmissions from the agency and offer analytic tools that support temporal-spatial analysis and user alerting.
