DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Westminster, Maryland seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive re-entry medicated assisted treatment program for incarcerated individuals. The program will require a full-time Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), available Monday through Friday at the County Detention Center, to deliver Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counseling and re-entry services for those participating in the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program.

Responsibilities include performing SUD assessments (such as biopsychosocial evaluations and TCU-5 screenings) to determine MAT eligibility, as well as conducting individual and group sessions per HB116 requirements. The vendor will provide support and coping skill development for individuals requesting MAT, facilitate treatment placement pre- and post-release, and utilize assertive outreach techniques to maintain contact and engagement with individuals after release to support successful community reintegration.

Assertive outreach will actively connect released or unexpectedly released individuals to ongoing treatment and support services. The program also involves providing continuous mentorship and assistance to individuals struggling with opioid use disorder.
