DESCRIPTION

The issuing district seeks a qualified vendor to provide Rapid 7 cybersecurity software as a service. The selected provider will deliver a managed detection, monitoring, and vulnerability management platform aimed at enhancing the district’s ability to detect, investigate, and mitigate cyber threats in real time.

Key components include comprehensive access to SIEM and XDR technologies for centralized incident management, authentication tracking, and robust endpoint visibility. The platform must support enhanced endpoint and network telemetry as well as advanced network traffic analysis, all underpinned by 24x7x365 security operations center (SOC) monitoring for the entire environment. The scope also requires deployment and management of next-generation antivirus (NGAV) to replace the district's existing Cylance antivirus system.

Additional services include assignment of a dedicated cybersecurity advisor, ongoing security consultation, monthly posture review meetings, and regular threat briefings. An initial forensic review of the district’s environment is expected upon deployment to identify possible attack paths and active compromises. The contract will cover a three-year period.
