A Maryland-based project is seeking a vendor to provide a QuestaSim simulation and verification software license for a memory device characterization platform based on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). QuestaSim is essential for simulating Hardware Description Language (HDL) code, enabling developers to accurately emulate and test FPGA-based memory device designs before hardware implementation.
The required tool must support mixed language simulation (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog), offer Unified Verification Methodology capabilities, and simulate functional and behavioral models. Additionally, the solution must include libraries for Intel, Xilinx, and Microsemi FPGAs and deliver a minimum of six times the speed of the integrated Vivado simulator. By ensuring precise design validation, the software will help safeguard memory devices during characterization and enable reliable benchmarking. The license is to be procured for the year 2025, supporting the ongoing development of a robust and cost-effective memory device testbed that can facilitate advancements in emerging semiconductor technologies. The contract is for a one-year term.
