The government authority located in Marin Transit, Texas seeks a qualified vendor to conduct comprehensive public transportation fleet inspection and maintenance audit services. The scope involves performing on-site vehicle inspections, reviewing maintenance records, observing facilities, and preparing detailed audit reports. Additional responsibilities include conducting turnover inspections, making recommendations for training and educational materials, and providing on-call technical support as needed.
The final deliverable will be a comprehensive written Vehicle Maintenance Audit Report. This report must present the audit scope, methodology, inspection summary, overall fleet condition by contractor, actionable recommendations for improving maintenance programs or contract requirements, and lists of critical and non-critical safety defects by contractor. Each report should also include individual vehicle inspection forms, body diagrams, and photographs documenting significant defects. Meetings will be held separately with Marin Transit and each contractor to review preliminary findings.
