SUMMARY

Kansas seeks a vendor to provide a scalable, cloud-based public safety software suite including CAD, RMS, fleet, equipment, and evidence management.

DESCRIPTION

The State of Kansas is seeking a vendor to provide a scalable, cloud-based public safety software suite to enhance its emergency response and law enforcement operations. The required solution must include Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS), Fleet Management, Equipment Management, Evidence Tracking, and corresponding mobile applications. The vendor should offer a comprehensive platform capable of supporting current and future needs, including system expansion and integration with emerging technologies.

The proposed software must accommodate full site or sufficient individual licensing to cover seven dispatch consoles, ten mobile data terminals, 25 records terminals (including active report writing locations), as well as additional web-based terminals for support personnel. The system should allow for simultaneous data entry and saving by multiple users across all departments and divisions.

Vendors are expected to deliver a fully cloud-based solution that operates on existing hardware. If additional hardware, including servers, is required, details must be specified in the proposal. The contract is anticipated to span five years, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for December 17, 2025, and all vendor questions due by December 19, 2025.
