DESCRIPTION


A highly qualified public relations agency is sought to serve as a strategic earned-media partner for the official tourism brand. The selected partner will lead the development of a 24-month strategic communications plan and creative strategy, with a scope that includes active soft adventure, cultural and historic sites, agribusiness and agritourism, craft beverage trails, entertainment, arts and culture, sports marketing and sales, international marketing, lodging offerings, and website initiatives within the existing platform.

The agency will be responsible for developing and executing an annual media pitch schedule, focusing on national, international, and travel-trade media outreach to enhance destination awareness and increase leisure travel and overnight visitation. Core tasks include creating press materials—such as national press kits, media alerts, press releases, talking points, fact sheets, and briefing documents—targeted at key tourism sectors. Additionally, the partner will proactively identify and pitch story opportunities aligned with national editorial calendars and emerging travel trends, ensuring the destination's visibility throughout the year.
